Be aware of fraudulent scams
There are a number of fraudulent scams operating at present and it is important that customers be wary of this. Please note the following:
- Fair Finance do not charge insurance fees for applying for a loan or ask for any advanced payment.
- Fair Finance will never contact you using personal email addresses (e.g. Hotmail or Gmail).
If you are contacted by anyone saying they are from Fair Finance asking you to pay insurance fees or give advanced payment to secure a loan, please do not give bank details or transfer any money. Instead, contact us immediately on 020 8988 0627.
What to do if you believe you are the victim of a scam
If you believe you have made a payment or provided your bank details to such a scam or suspect fraudulent activity, speak to your bank in the first instance and, if you would like, you should also report this to Action Fraud. For further information on financial fraud visit: actionfraud.police.uk
The Financial Conduct Authority is also able to offer further support where you suspect fraudulent activity. They can be contacted on 0800 111 6768.
